At Buy Fragrance Oil, customer satisfaction matters. This policy explains when and how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled for retail and wholesale orders.


Eligibility for Returns (Retail)

  • You may request a return within 14 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original, sealed packaging (including tamper seals).

  • A proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.

Hygiene/Safety Note: Due to cosmetic/perfumery standards, opened or partially used bottles cannot be accepted for return.

How to Start a Return (RMA)

  1. Email support@buyfragranceoil.com with your Order ID, reason, and photos (if applicable).

  2. We’ll confirm eligibility and issue a Return Authorization (RMA) and the return address.

  3. Ship the item(s) back in protective, leak-proof packaging with the RMA number on the label.

Unauthorized or postage-due returns may be refused.

Refunds

  • After the return is received and inspected, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless we shipped the wrong item or the product is defective.

  • If a return causes your order to fall below a promotional threshold (e.g., Free Shipping over $500), the original shipping cost may be deducted from the refund.

Exchanges

Want to swap a product for a different fragrance? Request an exchange within 14 days of delivery. Exchanges are accepted for unopened, sealed items and follow the same RMA steps.

Damaged, Missing, or Defective Items

If your package arrives damaged, incomplete, or the product is defective, email us within 3 business days (72 hours) of delivery at orders@buyfragranceoil.com with photos of:

  • the outer box,

  • inner packaging, and

  • the affected item(s).
    We’ll arrange a replacement or refund at no extra cost where applicable.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Opened or partially used bottles

  • Custom / private label orders

  • Final sale / clearance items (unless defective)

  • Gift cards or promotional items

  • Samples that have been opened/used

Wholesale Order Returns

  • Wholesale orders are non-returnable unless products are defective.

  • Returns must be pre-approved by our wholesale team and may be subject to a restocking fee (disclosed during authorization).

Return Shipping & Packaging

  • Unless the item is defective or shipped in error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Use a trackable, insured service and pack items with leak-proof protection.

  • We’re not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.

Processing Times

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days after return receipt and approval.

  • Your bank/issuer may take additional time to post the credit.
